Board of Deacons Chair

Steve Wrangham

The self described "Master of All things" is proof at CAN we don't take ourselves too seriously. We have been freed by the Grace of God from the fear of impressing each other. We invite you to be free to receive the love of God that has come through Jesus Christ. And to be as comfortable in it as Steve, Amanda and son Oliver.

Prayer Ministry

Khanh Nguyen

Jesus said "My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations". We feel like we have the "all nations" part, but we often feel like we need more of the "house of prayer" part. Khanh's goal is to encourage us to never lose sight of the father who is far more willing to answer than the unjust judge.

Finance Ministry

Michael Johnson

As Christians we believe that, “The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it.” (Ps. 24:1) Jesus calls us to “freely give, for we have freely received” (Mt 10:8), for “the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, but the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (2 Cor. 9:6). We are called to love God and our neighbors, and to that end we offer our money, time and talents. Let us give all that we have for the glory of God. “Remember the words of the Lord Jesus: It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)

The Church of All Nations also has an absolute commitment to financial transparency and accountability. Our monthly income and expense reports are available to the public at any time.

Finance Committee & Choir

Tae-Hohn Lee

Tae-Hohn's heart is in creating a choir. Please let him know if you are interested in joining.

The finance tasks are shared so that we can take the time at CAN to record the sources of income and to record where we spend it. It takes time to be committed to transparency. We hope that our actions line up with our words.

Women

Sonja Olson

We encourage our deacons to try new things to minister hopefully in the same spirit as Paul when he said he would become all things to all people so that by all means he might save some. In addition to the "traditional" fellowship activities for women, Sonja is seeking to connect women across generations to help each other. The young can learn the obvious wisdom that comes from experience that our culture sometimes discounts. The old can learn language and practice skills to relate to the young and remain able to connect to young people.

Fellowship Ministry

Paul Kim

If you can't find Paul, look up! Our tallest member finds joy in all kinds of serving. We are thankful for this tall blessing from God even we feel short around him.

Visitor Care

Denise Walker

The Visitor Care team seeks to make every visitor feel welcome and to connect them to the various ministries of CAN. If you are interested in being a part of the visitor care team or have suggestions, please contact Denise.

Cell Group Ministry

Kirsten Endrud

The small groups/cell groups aim for a more intimate relationship beyond the Sunday morning hello. They come in all types and Kirsten can help you join a group or form a group or just to find out more about cell groups at CAN. One of our members says: Get to know people enough to love them, then enough to really dislike them, then more so that you can love them again; then you begin to know how God feels about you.

Building committe

Lloyd Thielmann

In partnership with Jeremy, our building committee has done great things. With volunteer labor they have poured a concrete parking lot that holds over 100 cars, and replaced 10 wall panels from the drywall on the inside through to the siding on the outside. With imagination and foresight they have allowed us to do things that could have cost multiple tens of thousands of dollars for a fraction of the cost. They are our Nehemiah.
