Happy Mother’s Day and Matriarchy Sunday!
Happy Mother’s Day to all who mother our children and our church. Special thanks to our amazing women leaders who love and guide our church so faithfully. Also, in honor of Matriarchy Sunday, Bryan Jon and Isaac Sanborn are making fried chicken and fries in the “Big Daddy Chicken” food truck outside, which Bryan donated to the church. To cover cost, a $5-$10 donation is appreciated!
Congratulations to John Nelson on becoming an ordained pastor on May 28!
On May 9, the Twin Cities Presbytery voted unanimously to ordain John as pastor (teaching elder) at CAN. It’s been a long journey of patience and trust in God’s provisions. Ordination will be held during our May 28 morning service. So proud of you!

This institute covers World War I to the present in politics, economics, and history, and how the US remade the world. Dinner from 5:30-6:30p. Suggested donation of $50 for the entire series. Childcare provided.
