Marque will share his own journey of awareness; from his roots as a direct descendant of the European invasion of the upper Mid-west during the 1860-1890s, to becoming a part of the Dakota 38 Memorial Ride Community of riders and supporters. He’ll explore; What opportunities and privileges did my grandparents receive, and how has that impacted me? How did their welcomed arrival impact the original residents of those lands? How can I move from apathy to awareness and action to address present injustice that stems from these historical injustices?
